
# [Launch|https://cagrid.org/display/dorian14/Log+onto+the+Grid] the GAARDS UI.
# If you have not done so, [logon to the Grid|https://cagrid.org/display/dorian14/Log+onto+the+Grid] using your user account.
# From the MyAccount menu, select *My Host Certificates*. The My Host Certificates window appears.
# From the Service URI list, select the URI of the Dorian from which you want to request a host certificate.
# Click the *Find Host Certificates* button. A list of all the host certificates bound to your user account appears. For each host certificate listed you can see its current status (Active, Suspended, Rejected, Pending, Suspended). If the status of your certificate request is _Pending_, the administrator has not yet reviewed your request. If the status is _Rejected_, the administrator has rejected your request and will not issue a host certificate. If the status is _Active_, the administrator has approved your request and your certificate is ready to be downloaded.
*To download and save your certificate, to the file system, complete the following steps:*
# Select the certificate from the table at the bottom of the _My Host Certificates_ window.
# Click the *View Host Certificate* button. A window containing the details for the selected host certificate appears.
# Click the *Certificate* tab.
# Click the *Save Certificate* button. A file browser window opens.
# Browse to the directory you initially specified when you made the certificate request.
# In the File name field, enter {{THE_HOSTNAME_YOU_ENTERED-cert.pem}}.
# Click the *Save* button.
