How do I submit a bug?

First, verify that your issue is indeed a bug. To ask a new question, post to the appropriate forum in the caGrid Knowledge Center forums. If you are not familiar with the forums, please click on each forum and read the "Read First" announcement that describes what questions should go in the forum. If you do not have a Knowledge Center account, click the "Create Account" link on the blue banner of the Knowledge Center website.

For older questions, search the user's list archives to see if your question has already been asked and answered.

If you verify that your issue is a bug, submit it to the gforge bug tracker.

In all bug submissions, please describe in detail what steps you've taken to produce the problem, attach any detailed logs and full exceptions, and please attach the output of running the following command:

 ant -diagnostics

How do I submit a feature request?

First, verify that the feature does not yet existby viewing the current scope, user, and programmer guides; these can be found on the caGrid Gforge documents page. If the feature is not in the current release, you should see if there is a pending feature request on the caGrid Gforge feature tracker. If not, post a new request detailing your desired feature. Please be as specific as possible in describing your request. You may also want to check the user's email archives for relevant discussions, and feel free to email the list for discussion.
