caGrid Metadata Infrastructure

The caGrid metadata infrastructure consists of numerous components and services, which are described below:

• Metadata Models - Standardized service metadata models.
• Index Service - Provides the white and yellow pages of the grid.
• caDSR Service - caDSR Grid Service provides access to registered models and the capability to generate service metadata.
• EVS Service - EVS Grid Service provides access to controlled terminology.
• Introduce Support - Introduce Support for caGrid metadata.
• Advertisement - Provides the means to advertise services.
• Discovery - Provides the means to locate services and data of interest on the grid.

Administrators Guide

The Metadata 1.2 Administrators Guide is intended for administrators that wish to install and perform the day to day administrative of Sample.   The administrators guide provides detailed information regarding the installation, operation, and administration of Sample.

Developers Guide

The Metadata 1.2 Developers Guide is intended for developers whom wish to learn how to interact with Sample programmatically.  The developers guide provides detailed information on how to use the Sample client APIs.

Users Guide

The Metadata 1.2 Users Guide is intended for users of Metadata.
