This caGrid metadata infrastructure consists of a number of APIs, services, and graphical user interfaces. For a general overview, consult the Metadata Overview. For information on changes to the metadata infrastructure from caGrid 1.3 are detailed in the Changes in caGrid 1.4 page.

Administrators Guide

The Metadata 1.4 Administrators Guide is intended for administrators who wish to install and perform the day-to-day administration of the services which make up the metadata infrastructure. The administrators guide provides detailed information regarding the installation, operation, and administration of the GME and MMS services.

Developers Guide

The Metadata 1.4 Developers Guide is intended for developers who wish to learn how to programmatically and graphically interact with the metadata infrastructure via Introduce.

Design Guide

The Metadata 1.4 Design Guide is intended for developers who wish to learn how the metadata infrastructure is implemented such that they can extend or modify it.
