The GAARDS UI provides a mechanism for Dorian IdP administrators to search for and manage Dorian IdP user accounts. The image on the right provides an illustration of the User Search interface provided by the GAARDS UI. Dorian can perform searches based on the following search criteria:
Attribute
Description
Username
The unique identifier for the account within the Dorian IdP.
Password
The password for the account, used in authenticating with the Dorian IdP.
First Name
The first name of the user whom owns the account.
Last Name
The last name of the user whom owns the account.
Organization
The organization that the user belongs to.
Address
The street address of the user.
Address2
Second line of the user's street address.
City
The city the user resides in.
State
The state the user resides in.
Zip Code
The zip code of the area the user resides in.
Country
The country the user resides in.
Email
The user's email address.
Phone Number
The user's phone number.
Account Status
The user's account status (Active, Pending, Rejected, Suspended)
Account Role
Whether or not the user may administrate the Dorian Identity Provider.
To complete a Grid user search using the GAARDS UI complete the following steps:
From the Account Management menu select the Local Accounts sub menu, then select Local Account Management this will launch the Local Account Management Window.
From the Service drop down, select the Dorian you wish to search.
Enter the desired search criteria, if you don't enter anything all users will be discovered.
Click the Find Users button.
After the search has been completed, the users meeting your search criteria will be listed in the table under the Find Users button. If you wish to view the details of an individual user account, click the user of interest and click the Manage button. This will launch the user management window for the user you selected.
