Request caBIG Production Account Using the Portal

To request a user account using your web browser please complete the following steps:

1. Open your web browser to the caGrid Portal, by clicking this link (shown below).
2. Click on the "Register" link on the caGrid Portal homepage (Register link is in the tab menu bar)
3. This will take you to the account registration page (shown below).
4. Fill out all required fields (marked by an *).
5. Specify a username and password. This will be the username and password that you use to authenticate with the Dorian IdP.
   • Username must be between 4 and 15 characters in length.
   • Password must be between 10 and 20 characters and CANNOT contain a dictionary word and MUST contain at least one upper case letter, at least one lower case letter, at least one number, and at least one symbol (~!@#$%^&*()_-+={}[]|:;<>,.?).
6. Finally click the Submit button.

If you get an error, please verify your username and password meets the requirements detailed above, and that you have filled out all required fields. If all is successful, your account will be immediately approved and you should be able to create grid credentials.
