Compromising Host Credentials

During the upgrade process it may be necessary to compromise old host credentials. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Login to GAARDS UI as a user with administrator privileges.
   

   %> cd $CAGRID_HOME
   
   %> ant security
   

2. Click "Account Management"->"Grid Account Management"->"Host Certificate Management".
3. Enter Hostname in "Host" field and click "search".
4. Double-click resulting entry that matches the credentials that you need to compromise.
5. In the resulting "Host Certificate" Window.
   1. Select "Compromised" from the Status drop-down.
   2. Click "Update Certificate" button.
6. Exit GAARDS UI
